Goal:
When a customer has one full-price item in their cart, the Upsell Module prompts them to add a second pair at 50% off under the BOGSHP (Buy One, Get Second Half Price) promotion.
Work / Changes Required:
  • When the cart holds exactly one full-price item that qualifies for BOGSHP, the Upsell Module shows a message telling the customer they can get a second pair at 50% off.
  • The products suggested in the module are only ones that qualify for BOGSHP.
  • Suggested products show the price the customer would pay once the 50% discount applies. Show a 50% off" label.
  • Adding a suggested product from the module applies the BOGSHP discount in the cart, following the existing promo rules.
  • Once the cart has two qualifying items, the BOGSHP upsell message no longer shows. Shows again if they have 3 items in the cart (i.e show for odd numbers in cart).
  • Clearance or promo items don't trigger the BOGSHP upsell and aren't suggested.
  • The BOGSHP upsell only shows while the BOGSHP promotion is live.
