We're changing how Cody pages load so your full content is in the page from the very first moment. Today, product, category and some content pages load their details with JavaScript after the page opens. Shoppers see everything as normal, but many AI tools and crawlers only read the first version of the page, so they can miss prices, stock and article text.
With this change, pages will be built on our servers before they reach the visitor, so AI tools and search engines see the same complete page your shoppers do. We're planning to start with Product and Category pages, then Page Builder pages (including your home page) and content like blogs and journals. Pages that arrive fully built should also load faster for shoppers.
This will work alongside our structured data update to give your site full visibility in AI search. Upvote this post to follow our progress and get updates as we go.
